Web Developer Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Director of Communications and Marketing to ensure that the web presence is consistent with the brand and supports the communications strategy
• Lead the development of a strategy that moves the publications focus from print to online media
• Provide advice and support to the task force that is planning an internal communications project
• Research and implement a real-time communications strategy for the College, utilizing mobile technologies
• Support the implementation of an online newsletter for the College
• Manage and maintain content of the UWCSEA website and associated publications including all internal portals, eBrief, eFlyer etc

• Be an independent self-starter
• Have a strategic focus and the confidence and ability to advise the communications team on all aspects of the end-user experience
• Be able to multi-task in a busy and fast-paced environment
• Enjoy working as part of a small and busy team

Requirements

• Degree holder
• Extensive experience in Javascript, HTML and content management systems for the web (familiary with Finalsite an advantage)

Two years experience of working in a team, preferably within a non-profit organization
