·         Install, Maintained and able to troubleshoot on the following platforms

o    SUN SPARC Machines

o    IBM AIX

o    Oracle Version 10 to the current version or Oracle

Responsibilities:

Perform system administration including the monitoring of system availability by checking system logs and performing system related problem determination and resolution

Install and apply preventive maintenance and program temporary fixes, mutually agreed by IBM and Customer to correct defects in the Operating Systems

Perform server problem determination and provide support as required to assist with hardware and software problem isolation and resolution in the server environment

Perform server file-space management services

Schedule, monitor and resolve error in system scheduled jobs

Perform performance analysis and system parameter tuning

Provide monthly reporting of downtime and trend analysis, tracking of solved / unsolved incidents, actual HW configuration and SW release status

Manage Operating System administrator user access

Perform user ID Administration - for adding, updating or deleting system user accounts for those users on IBM managed systems

Provide user and group security administration of directories and files in accordance with Customer requirement

Adhere to incident, problem and change management process
