Manage an RF testing group. Ensure committed delivery schedules are met.

Schedule and coordinate with Production planners and assembly supervisor to plan and create daily work plan.

Work with Production transfer and engineering departments to resolve technical issues in production.

Support product transfer and engineering to perform test cases, reports outcome of troubleshooting findings and document testing results.

Collate Production data and conduct analysis on Product electrical performance.

Work with Production transfer and engineering group and enhance product performance to improve test group efficiency.

Responsible for maintaining and ensure good working conditions of test station equipment, test accessories and test jigs.

Enhance test group technical capability.

Perform administrative work for test group.

Lead the test group on work place improvement projects.

Sr. RF Test Engineer/Manager

The senior RF test engineer is responsible for conceiving, designing and implementing both manual custom fixtures and fully automated test equipment. They will work closely with engineering and manufacturing to define test strategy, implement testability and deliver test solutions.

Technical Competencies

• Ability to understand automated test programs in Lab view based on RF specifications
• Ability to troubleshoot automated test programs
• Proven experience and familiarity with measurement equipment like Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multi-Meters, Network Analyzers, RF Signal Generators, power meters etc
• Familiarity with GPIB, serial, and IEEE488 interfaces – desired
• Good understanding of RF hardware like switches, amplifiers, mixers, combiners/dividers etc.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Define RF equipment testing methods
• Design and procure test systems
• Create and procure tools and jigs for testing
• Install and maintain Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) stations in-house and sub-contractor premises
• Prepare and maintain calibration reports for ATEs
• Document test system tools and fixtures
• Participate in design and provide DFT input.

Mandatory Skill:

Must able to use measurement equipment to test Radio Frequency equipment will only be considered for this role.

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering

Min 4 years of experience in this field
