System Security Engineer, contract (Ref: EJ82896)

Responsibilities:

• to provide System related Security Incident Investigation and Management
• to plan and implement Security Incident and Event management (SIEM) platform
• to plan and oversee the implementation of a Security Operation Center (SOC) team
• to provide active Cyber threat monitoring and dissemination of information and reporting
• to perform vulnerability assessment and patch/change management
• to perform periodic Core systems review and enforce policies compliance
• to be responsible for Physical security planning, enforcement (CCTV, Card system, alarm/door etc)
• to provide regular update to the team on the latest security technologies and trends
• to constantly review and streamline the security policies and processes
• to ensure systems security comply with audit standard requirement

Requirements

• Good Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Engineering 
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in the systems security area and Security incident response
• Candidate must also be innovative, customer-focused and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess the following knowledge in:
• Systems skills and Internet knowledge (eg Linux/UNIX, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS etc)
• SIEM platform (eg. Arcsight etc)
• Surveillance and physical security systems (eg CCTV, Card systems etc)
• Candidates possessing CISSP, CISA, CISM, RHCE or RHCSS certifications would be an added advantage.
