System Safety & QA Engineer

Job Description

·         Establish, plan, organize, implement and maintain an effective System Safety Program that is integrated into all life cycle phases.

·         Ensure that System Safety Program Plan (SSPP) is prepared that reflects in detail how the total program is to be conducted with respect to safety.

·         Monitor System Safety activities, review and approve mitigation actions.

·         Compile the final SAR to be delivered to the users.

·         Review all verification action are satisfactory completed as per Hazard List.

·         Identifies system/subsystem hazards.

·         Identifies hazard elimination, mitigation, or control requirements to system design.

·         Provide evidence of hazard elimination or control.

·         Communicates residual safety risk to System Safety Working Group (SSWG)

·         Provide QA/QC support to Projects

·         Prepares the Quality and Inspection Test plans according to project specification

·         Implement the quality assurance program, mainly on incoming check, ICIT check and acceptance test check

·         Perform all QC work to ensure all works meet the customer requirements

·         Vendor audit and source inspection

Job requirements

·         At least a Degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience in System Safety and Quality Assurance in System Integration. Diploma holder with more than five years' working experience will also be considered.

·         Work on assigned projects independently with project team

·         Familiar with MIL-STD-882, system safety program requirements

·         Familiar with ISO 9001-2008

·         Good knowledge of MS Office like Excel and PowerPoint

·         Independent with good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
