Sharepoint Support Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Consults with appropriate staff to develop requirements and specifications for applications.  Implements developed applications and provides customer support of applications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

5 years of information technology experience, with a minimum of 3 years of SharePoint experience.

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience with all major areas of SharePoint including but not limited to: SharePoint Designer Workflow, Security, Search, Content Management, Document Management, Business Processes, Forms, Custom Content Types, Templates, Portals and Collaboration. * Experience using SharePoint to integrate with existing applications and SQL Server databases
• 3+ years experience of SharePoint development required
• Other desirable experience: SQL Server databases, XML, HTML, Web Services, .Net Framework, IIS, SharePoint 2010, Crystal Reports.

• The ideal candidate will have experience that includes SharePoint and web services.
• Develops reports for data analyses requiring technical programming that is used to drive business decisions
• Develops programmatic code to support data integration between business applications
• Develops and implements enhancements to enterprise business applications
• Develops enterprise reporting applications
• Reviews programming code of other developers to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting
• Reviews system logs and acts accordingly to ensure automated processes updated correctly
• Supports interfaces between various enterprise applications
• Responsible for programming, maintaining, modifying, debugging, documenting and supporting new and existing SharePoint 2007 applications and installed solutions.
• Assist in creation and maintenance of software deployment environment by deploying tools and techniques for optimized version control and migration. Proactively test and debug applications throughout the development cycle.
• Will need to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting all milestones as required.
• Candidate will have excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills and will work closely with business and project managers to help define and deliver solutions.
• Will frequently serve as subject matter expert on the capabilities and limitations of SharePoint and will translate business requirements into SharePoint applications, where appropriate.
• Able to work with customers, administrators, and team members at various levels to ensure the successful development, test, and deployment of high performance information systems.
• Provide advanced technical support to end users and other technical staff, as needed.
• Ability and willingness to mentor others in SharePoint application development processes.
