Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline

Security administration with experience in tracking of security advisories & security patching

Preferably possesses current CISSP certification

At least 2 years experience working in an IT infrastructure so that he has good working knowledge of IT infrastructure elements and how they are inter-related, i.e. servers, middleware software, desktops, firewalls, proxies, network routers & switches.   

Experience in the following would be an advantage: security scanning, IDS or IPS, Security audits, ISO 27000 / ISO 17799 / 20000 / ITIL standards

Experience and certification in Microsoft, Unix systems (such as Solaris, AIX,), Cisco systems would be an advantage

Good interpersonal & communication skills, as he needs to work with the teams in a complex environment to execute his duties effectively

Senior Security Consultant

At least 2 years' experience in some of the following areas:

- security solutions such as firewall, IPS, IDS, VPN, authentication, anti-virus, content filtering, patch management, data loss prevention & SIEM;

- OS-hardening, UNIX, WIN2K, NT and web server security; and

- vulnerability assessment.

Must be able to work independently.

CISSP & CISA certifications preferred.
