Senior Procurement Executive


Job Description:
- Work with engineers to source for material that meet technical requirement, quality and cost budget
- Support program to obtain material costings during tender exercise
- Facilitate engineering and QA participation in drawing/specification review with supplier to ensure clear requirement definition of purchases before award of order
- Initiate supplier qualification and coordinate with QA and supplier to conduct the qualification
- Evaluate, negotiate and award of orders to the selected supplier
- Arrange for shipment/freight for materials ordered from overseas suppliers
- Plan with warehouse on space requirement to store incoming materials
- Coordinate with production planner/controller and supplier to ensure delivery of goods and services meet production schedule
- Participate in engineering change forum and follow-up with workshops, warehouse, QA and suppliers to implement design changes on outsourced materials
- Drive supplier quality and coordinate with warehouse and supplier on return of rejected goods and re-delivery of reworked/replacement goods to warehouse
- Plan with suppliers to ensure efficient receipt of goods/issue of goods by/from warehouse

Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years relevant experiance in engineering & some experience in purchasing
- Must be independent with good leadership skills
- Resourceful with good cost analysis capabilities
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills in communicating with internal & external parties
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint
- Able to work with internal customers & external suppliers

Senior Supply Chain Engineer


Job Description:

Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Electrical Engineering with 3 - 5 years relevant experience in engineering & some experience in purchasing
- Preferably with strong passion and interest in the automotive field
- Possess knowledge of automotive systems and components and its manufacturing processes
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Resourceful with good technical & negotiation skills and a good network of suppliers
- Experience in conducting component cost analysis
- Knowledge in ERP (SAP or equivalent) will have an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Organised, meticulous and self-motivated
