Senior HR Executive


Job Description:
- As part of a HR team, to provide HR functions in the areas of manpower planning & recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management & recognition, learning & development, employee involvement & wellness, and other HR admin for a business unit of staff strength about 400-600.

Manpower Planning & Recruitment
- Conduct screening and interviews for candidates
- Review manpower requirements with operations
- Prepare monthly manpower report
- Conduct exit interviews for resignees

Compensation & Benefits
- Conduct internal salary benchmarking and prepare salary proposals for new employees
- Conduct internal/external salary benchmarking and recommend salary/market adjustments for current employees

Performance Management & Recognition
- Conduct performance ranking sessions with senior management for reviewing performance grades, annual increments, bonuses & promotions
- Oversees the Spot-On award administration
- Organise the identification, selection and presentation of the various recognition awards, e.g. Model Employee Award, Long Service Awards etc

Learning & Development
- Track and monitor the build up of the employees’ core competencies
- Organise and administer training programmes/classes
- Support the operations in the process of Learning Needs Analysis

Employee Involvement & Wellness
- Organise and host Communication Sessions & Celebrative Events
- Organise Chit Chat sessions for employees to meet with Management to address Human Resource and other issues
- Facilitate the implementation of Employee Opinion Survey (EOS)
- Collate, analyse and develop action plans to address issues arising from EOS
- Handle canteen caterers’ matters and contracts

Other Appointment & Responsibilities
- Lead a project team on a case to case basis
- Conduct disciplinary counselling and warning sessions for employees
- Assume secondary appointment in committees/sub committees

Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource Management
- Experience in manpower planning & recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management & recognition, learning & development, employee involvement & wellness and change management
- Proficient in MS Office - Word/Powerpoint/Access and Prosoft
- Highly Proficient in MS Office - Excel and SAP
- Possesses high emotional quotient
- Exhibits excellent communications skills
- Able to accepts honest feedback
- Strives to unleash own potential
