SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR(Malaysia)
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Minimum 2 years experience in data center/ server administration/ system design and application maintenance in a large or medium environment.
Must know at least 3 or more of the following technologies:
- Windows Server 2000/ 2003/ 2008, Active Directory, VMWare ESX, Citrix Metaframe, Unix (AIX/ Linux/ HP-UX/ Solaris, HP Servers, Oracle 10gR2 or above, MS SQL 2000/2005/2008, Symantec Net Backup, IBM/ SAN/ NAS Storage, Symantec Storage Foundation Volume Manager.
Must be proficient in 3 or more of the following:
Installation/ configuration, operation support and/ or administration of Windows/ UNIX/ Database servers.
System administration, maintenance, backup/ restore, performance tuning
Installation, service setup, operation support and administration of various hardware and software platforms.
Capacity planning, system expansion and enhancement support, backup and tape management, Security hardening and patching.
Managing databases supporting large applications.
Design, installation, deployment, maintenance, and tuning of large and complex applications and databases on Linux and/or UNIX platforms.
Optional: One or more of the following certificates:
MCSA/MCSE 2000/ 2003/ Messaging, VMWare Certified, RHCE, SCSA, Oracle 9i/10g Certified
