QC INSPECTOR

Job Responsibilities

• Perform inspection on Printed Circuit Board (PCB), Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) & raw component inspection
• Perform inspection with 3rd party inspector when required
• Familiar with either IPC-A-610 standard or mechanical parts drawing
• Inspect and verify manufactured parts and purchased items according to product requirements
• Initiate rejection tags for non-conformity and follow-up on the disposition
• Ensure timely follow-ups on the disposition of the discrepantitems
• Ensure timely inspection and testing to ensure smooth process flow
• Timely update of inspection results to enable effective monitoring of shop floor performance
• Work closely with other functional groups on quality related issues
• Assist QA Engineerand QC Officer in verifying and coordinating the project /system quality

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels / NTC 3 in Electronic Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in PCB, PCBA and raw component inspection
• Knowledge of IPC-A610 and mechanical parts preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Initiative and able to work with minimal supervision
• Possess basic computer skills
• Able to perform shift work (2^nd shift) when required
• Good eye vision
