Project Manager (Satcom Systems/Telecom)

Job Description

The appointee shall be responsible for the baseline planning, customer management, supervision and control of all project activities to achieve successful completion within time schedule and budget. The basic job duties are :

1) acquire full understanding of contractual requirements – terms of contract, scope of work and deliverables, project milestones etc.

2) formulate a Project Management Plan with well defined work packages, project team organization, deliverables, project schedule etc.

3) measure physical progress and reporting

4) review progress, track action items and take corrective actions

5) define administrative and coordination procedures

6) procure resources needed to support project implementation

7) build rapport, team work and morale of project team members

8) maintain good relationship with customer representatives

9) exercise cost control to manage project within cost budget

Requirements

1. MSc or Degree in Electrical / Electronics, majoring in Communication Engineering

2. At least 3 years of relevant project management experience, preferably PMP certified

3. Familiarity with satellite communication / data networks / telecommunication systems
