Project Manager- LAN Routers - Cisco Integrated Services Router
At least 5 years in project manage and technical implementation of IT network projects
Proven track record in assuming overall responsibility and managing multi-million dollars IT network projects in both the government and/or commercial sectors
Monitor and control the project progress, budget, cost, resources, schedule and deliverables
Certification in CITPM or PMI preferred
Experienced and familiarity with Structured Cabling, Network, wireless LAN and routing technologies, network solutions using CISCO, ALCATEL LUCENT network equipment as well as their management systems (NMS). Added advantage for those who is having converged communication experience or implemented complex technicality such as MPLS, Converged UC and/or security
Certification: PMI/ CITPM
Job Scope
Manage/implement projects that are mega and complex in nature covering the area of mainly Networks and IT security system.
- Define project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
- To lead, plan, execute, and commision projects according to scope, schedule and within budget. This includes managing resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
- Monitor and control the project progress, budget, cost, resources, schedule and deliverables
- Ensures adherence project scope and requirement to legally binding requirements.
- Controls project requirements, scope, and change management issues.
- Maintains awareness on emerging IT technologies and Project Management techniques.
- Develops project control and reporting procedures and manages changes in operational plan.
- Undertakes project status review meetings among project team members and clients.
- Coaches and advises team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues.
