Production Support Team Lead (Java/Oracle/Unix)

As part of a banking domain Production Support team, you will be involved in providing 24x7 critical support that requires investigating and troubleshooting issues, as well as providing timely improvements / resolutions to address problems / incidents encountered.

 Other core responsibilities include:

-       Guide and a team of Application Support Engineers responsible for providing Level 1 and 2 application support activities for groups of related applications in different technology areas

-       Responsible for tracking all incidents happening and own the incident until closure

-       Process owner of incident management and daily application support escalations

-       Conduct daily capacity, SLA and performance review / analysis

-       Actively identify areas for improvement to ensure system stability and ease of maintenance

-       Participate in COB testing and audit

Requirements:-

-       At least 10 years of IT experiences with minimum 4 years of production support experiences in a banking environment

-       Recent experiences in leading a team of at least 5 members

-       Able to work in 24x7 production support standby

-       Technically proficient in Java,Oracle,Unix

Dot Net Technical Architect (Banking)

Define system-level application architecture that includes high-level design, architectural policies and principles, design and programming guidelines, implementation risks and mitigation measures, software development and integration strategies, software configuration controls, etc..

·         Maintain control over the architect throughout the entire software development lifecycle by continuously making critical adjustments to the architecture to ensure desired results are achieved.

·         Involve in requirement analysis phase to ensure the implementation feasibility of functional specifications. Highlight requirement gaps, disproportional construction efforts, technical challenges and any other issues to business analyst teams.

·         Engage customers to explain the rationale of architecture’s selection, or other technical issues.

·         Lead architecture team to develop the common application framework, or repeatable functions for reusability.

·         Trouble-shoot technical problems faced by the project team.

-          At least 8 years experience with substantial project work in software design & development using .NET, and having good knowledge of architectural principles.  

-          Banking domain experience would be advantageous.

-          Ability to write excellent code that will be used as examples for the development team.

-          Ability to talk to clients when necessary to explain design rationale, defend design or demonstrate how the application should be constructed at every layer of the application architecture.

-          Ability to solve the difficult problems by finding the root cause.

-          Team player with strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills

-          Possess can-do attitude, initiative and able to work under stringent time schedules
