Procurement Executive
Job:
- Support Development and Productions teams to source and purchase vehicle components and systems
- Work closely with Engineers to source smartly in line with product specifications
- Responsible for Sourcing, Negotiating, Contracting and Management of Suppliers
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of parts
- Monitor performance of suppliers in terms of on-time delivery and quality
- Liaise with finance to arrange for payment and to resolve payment matters
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing with at least 2 years’ relevant purchasing experience in automotive components and /or metal fabrication industry
- At least 2 -3 years relevant experience in Purchasing or Commodity Management
- Good knowledge of automotive systems and components and its manufacturing process
- Candidates with strong passion and interest in the automotive field are preferred
- Experience in conducting component cost analysis
- Resourceful with good technical & negotiation skills and a good network of related suppliers
- Knowledge in ERP (SAP or equivalent) will be an advantage
- Must be a good team player, independent and able to communicate effectively
