Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Stamping Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years experience (diploma) or 3 years experience (degree) in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge in stamping processes, assembly processes and precision tooling fabrication including hands-on experience.
- Good interpersonal skills, strong technical background with analytical mind.
- Self motivator and ability to communicate well with all level of staff and external contacts.
The Job:
- Design and develop new processes to meet customer requirements and manufacturability;
- Modify existing high speed stamping die or processes to meet the needs of manufacturing operations;
- Introduce new technology and design in processing, handling and manufacturing technology abreast with latest, advanced technologies available;
- Execute engineering project to enhance yield, productivity improvement and automation of processes
- Initiate, develop and implement new processes;
- Manage and monitor tooling investment for new product;
- Co-ordinate and interface with Design, Process and suppliers regarding the development of new products;
- Handle other ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.
