Pre Sales Consultant
Scope of work:
- Validate clients’ business/ IT needs relative to Company’s solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales, TSO and Delivery teams in developing sales strategies and tactics to achieve targets.
- Develop and leverage relationships with internal resources, partners and senior client technologists across Asia South.
- Communicate solutions and technical capabilities to the clients to ensure execution of sales approach and customer satisfaction. This includes understanding and communicating key competitive differentiators, by solutions, as defined by business units.
- Provide thought leadership to internal teams, clients and partners.
- Define high level solution specifications for implementation working with the delivery team as necessary.
- Define requirements and success criteria for PoC’s as required.
Requirements:
- Min 2-3 years in Recovery Management
- Able to articulate Recovery Management concept

Backup solution skill:
- NetBackup / BackupExec / Legato / Comvault or Bakbone
- BackupExec BESR, Acronis, ShadowProtect, others
- Knowledge in Windows 2003, 2008 is a must
- Knowledge in UNIX & Linux is a bonus
- Knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory (admin level)
- Knowledge in MS SQL 2005 and above, MS Exchange 2003 and above (apps structural, backup & restore concept)
- Understanding of Virtualization backup recovery concept
