Portal/ Mobile Team Lead

You will be responsible for participating and assisting in defining & implementing IT projects and the quality and progress of these projects to ensure on time, effective project outcomes.

Other responsibilities include:-

• Manage project schedules, quality, communication and risk plans
• Participate in project plans, milestones and deliverables in consultation with business users and developers
• Build project schedules, quality plans, budgets, and communication and risk management plans
• Oversee the implementation of the project on a daily basis with regard to schedules, manpower and quality
• Assist with regular reporting on project status
• Initiate, organize and attend project meetings and ensure project teams
are kept fully informed about project progress, tasks and involvement

Requirement

§  At least 4 years IT experience and 1 year of IT/Communications Engineering project management experience with ability to manage low complexity projects

§  Technical familiarity in the following areas:

1.     Java/J2EE - Tomcat/Weblogic

2.     Portal/Internet/HTML/Ajax skillset

3.     Relational Database - MySQL, Oracle

4.     Mobile(iPhone/Androd/Windows) platform (preferred)

5.     Able to lead a team of 5-7 applications developers

6.     Preferably to be able to front customer in technical/domain discussion

Performance Test Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyze performance testing requirements to prepare performance test plan and test design.
• Advise project team on performance design consideration to facilitate meeting of performance requirements.
• Prepare and ensure readiness of test bed and test environment to carry out the performance test execution.
• Execute test in accordance to performance test design.
• Analyze performance test results and work with respective teams to resolve bottlenecks in performance.
• Prepare performance test report for submission.
• Provide regular performance test results updates.
• Manage performance test activities and ensure the planned performance test activities are completed as scheduled.
• Coach, train and mentor project teams on test practices.
• Share knowledge within or other teams in the organization.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in performance testing where development background will be advantageous.
• Secondary skillsets include: Java and Unix.
• Trained on at least one of the following performance tools: SilkPerformer, LoadRunner, Rational Performance Tester
• Able to do scripting for the project using the designated performance test tool.
• Able to troubleshoot scripting errors and provide work-around solutions in event of test tool's limitation.
• Able to evaluate and provide recommendations on test tools for projects.
• Possess good communication skills (verbal and written) and working attitude.
