Job Description
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and write code / unit tests
- Engineer, implement and maintain new / existing products
- Optimize and enhance web applications with millions of page requests
- Add architecture input to new system components, and rewrites
- Contribute expertise to code reviews and assist in mentoring junior developers
Requirements
- 4+ years experience with PHP and Python / Perl developing web-based systems
- Strong experience in a Unix environment
- Experience with developing REST-based APIs
- Cloud Management / Virtualization (i.e. Amazon EC2 and S3)
- Experience building system components as re-usable APIs is a plus
