The L2 Oracle ERP Technology Operations team is responsible for day to day support of development, test and production Oracle ERP and satellite systems. These Oracle ERP technology systems are deployed in support of the Enterprise Business and primarily supports the business functions of Finance, Manufacturing and Professional Services. This team is also responsible for the support the satellite systems like Optio, Markview, Aceva, Agile, Khalix, Webplan, Sabrix and other external applications including SAP, Siebel, Peoplesoft, Equity Edge, Dicarta etc.. that support the Oracle ERP technology functionality.
This role will be the lead for the Oracle ERP technology Operations team. This person will be the thought leader and the deep technical skill for this application’s technology implementation. This person will be the go to person for all deep technical issues. This person will also be responsible for the training, mentoring and quality of the Oracle ERP technology operation’s team.
This role will require interfacing with the applications teams to understand the business processes and impact of these systems in delivering of this enterprise application to the business.
Under the guide of the L2 Oracle ERP Operations Lead, be responsible for the following areas: Housekeeping, space management, account management, deployment of application changes, monitoring, triage, ticket resolution and troubleshooting of all technology related issues. The weekly report of progress, SLA compliance and immediate escalation of issues is critical for this team’s success.
This position requires participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Skills
- Experience supporting application and database administration of large database and applications implementations.
- Strong Apps DBA skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP applications Release 11.5.9/11.5.10
- Experience with multiple large Oracle ERP upgrades (11.5.4 to 11.5.9, 11.5.9 to 11.5.10) etc…
- Experience supporting Database Rel. 8i/9i/10g/11g
- Strong Database and Application Patching, Ability to perform Pre-patch analysis and identify dependencies
- Oracle 10g Grid Control
- Oracle Enterprise manager
- Other Database monitoring tools
- Handling very large database backup/recovery
- Experience working with NAS and SAN solution.
- Backups/recovery using NetApp snapmirror/snaprestore technologies
- Good knowledge of Oracle database, applications and concurrent manager parameters and tuning
- Experience supporting Oracle ERP with Single Sign-on using OID rel. 10.1.4.3
