POSITION : OPERATION COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT : AFTERMARKET PARTS
JOB DESCRIPTION
PRIMARY FUNCTION
- To coordinate shipping arrangement and documentation
- To work with forwarder on local stock transfer and outbound shipments
- To support regional cores program
- To support truck & trailer operation
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support internal customers on export arrangement to Rotterdam & Syracuse
- Support external customers on export, local delivery & pickup
- Monitor inbound & outbound shipment
- Prepare performa invoice, packing list, ISF for export requirement
- Coordinate with forwarder & warehouse team on loading & stuffing thus meeting customer shipment date
- Documentation & filing of AWB, POD and PI upon delivery
- Source & select effective forwarder for shipment, freight rate and terms negotiation
- Verify payment for freight & external warehouse invoices
- Track and monitor monthly freight expenses
- Monitor cores return from customers & regional depots
- Issue credit note to customer for core returns
QUALIFICATION and EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in any discipline, preferred in shipping/ logistics operations Mgt
- Minimum 3 years working experience liaising with shipping agents and customers
- Knowledge in custom procedures and documentation
