Network Security Engineer, Contract (Ref: EJ82897)

Responsibilities:

• to provide Network related Security Incident Investigation and Management
• to be responsible for coordinating for blocking of subscriber access upon activation by the authorities
• to be responsible for coordinating for informing subscriber of possible malware infection upon notification by the authorities
• to perform periodic Core Network security review and enforce policies compliance
• to be responsible for DDOS attack prevention planning, implementation and administration
• to be responsible for Security infrastructure (firewall, intrusion detection, two-factor authentication) planning, management and administration
• to provide regular update to the team on the latest security technologies and trends
• to constantly review and streamline the security policies and processes
• to ensure Network security comply with audit standard requirement
• to be responsible for Physical security planning, enforcement (CCTV, Card system, alarm/door etc)

Requirements

• Good Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Engineering 
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in the Network security area and Security incident response
• Candidate must also be innovative, customer-focused and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess the following knowledge in:
• Network skills and Internet knowledge (eg Juniper, Cisco, Extreme etc)
• Firewall and IDS/IPS systems (eg. Juniper/Netscreen, Cisco PIX, Fortinet, Snort, Tipping Point etc)
• DDOS systems (eg Abor, Allot etc)
• Candidates possessing CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCNP, CCSA or JCNIS certifications would be an added advantage.
