Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication or Computer Science with 5 years of relevant experience

Possess both technical and project management skills to oversee projects from conception of system to final delivery of services.

Good working experience in leading a project team (at least 5 years) for the deployment (procurement, installation, testing and commissioning) of systems for service offerings to customers.

Good knowledge of IP PBX features and functionalities, knowledge in the various video conferencing standards like SIP, H.323, H.264, H.239 (Data collaboration) and H.320 (ISDN), products (MCU and endpoints) of major video conferencing players like Polycom, Tanberg and Cisco as well as standard features and terms (e.g. Voice activated switching, Continuous presence, Video Transcoding, etc.) of video conferencing.

A good working knowledge of Telephony technologies, such as traffic engineering, call control and set-up, VoIP (SIP, H323, various codec G711, G729, etc. Session Border Controller) and the supplemented by knowledge of IP routing protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS/VPN etc.), LAN & WAN technologies.

Possess knowledge of computer systems, relational database software, application development will be an added advantage

With working experience in a network and system infrastructure for at least 3 years

CErtification in Certified Videoconferencing Engineer (CVE) Program

A team player with excellent communication skills

Has the ability to work independently and effectively with peers from different departments, middle management and business units

Self-driven, possess initiatives and resourcefulness and able to motivate a team in trying times.

Responsibilities

• Plan and procure systems to support Managed Services in the areas of IPPBX, HDVC and Telephony.

• Establish the inter-working requirements of these systems as well as with other elements in the network to ensure the smooth delivery of the managed services.

• Establish and provide technical requirements for the managed services supported by the systems and to be in-line with Products’ strategies.

• Oversee, monitor and where applicable adopt the technologies trends to ensure our strategies are inline with industry trends

• Establish the milestones and timeline for implementation of the various managed services offered.

• Monitor, track and report the progress of the strategy and deployment

• Establish a training program for Operations, Sales, Customer Care, Solution team, etc

• Provide the necessary technical support to the various stakeholders to ensure a seamless service implementation and delivery.

• Establish procurement guideline and policies for the purchases of systems as well as new features and functionalities.

• Establish in conjunction with Operations to provide a process to ensure continuous service availability.

• Support customer-facing and operational units on pre-sales and post-sales issues Work closely with OSS/BSS team to monitor the performance for the deployed equipment
