Network Engineer- SOE Managed Services
Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Computer Science with relevant working experience.
At least 1 year of IT networking hands-on experience in LAN& WAN or Network Monitoring Systems or IT Security.
Understanding of IT technology and experience in deployment of Enterprise and Wide Area Networks.
Practical knowledge& hands-on experiences in managing TCP/IP, Routing protocols, Firewalls (Checkpoint), IDS, IPS,LAN switches (Catalyst 6500), Routers (Cisco 7500), VoIP, Content filtering engine, Alcatel equipment, VPN, ACS, WLAN and F5 technology.
Nokia Checkpoint Certified is preferred
Experience in monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting complex networks and systems.
Experience on Project implementation, network designing and documentation.
Able to install, test, implement, maintain IT infrastructure and ensure reliability and efficiency.
Experience in disaster recovery drill.
Preferably experience worked in government environment.
Good written and communication skills.
Perform overtime as and when it requires and having 7x24 standby.
Able to support a large pool of users (>500 users).
Experience in monitoring tools such as CA, HP Openview, Whats Up Gold.
At least Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Solution Consultant-Presales
At least 3 years of pre-sales experience in large scale IT projects.
If it is a Network Engineer who is new to the presales, would need him to have at least 4-5 years of network implementation experience.
Experience in CISCO & Alcatel solutioning
Experience in tender write-up presentation and able to build strong customer rapport
Experience in government and commercial sectors
Familiar with Alcatel and/or CISCO products
Preferably CCDP/ CCNP
Must be team player, but yet able to work independently
Strong knowledge on wireless or IP Communications or network security would be an advantage
