Network Engineer (Managed Services)-IP Telephony
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
· At least 3 years of working experience in the IT networking.
· Preferably hold a professional level network related certification (CCNA?
· Administration and troubleshooting skill in network environment is required.
· Throughout understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP Networking.
· Proven track record in assuming technical responsibility in implementing/maintaining enterprise IT network projects (of at least 200 network devices) · Experience in design, implementing and administrating network devices.
· Experience in network routing & switching.
· Experience in implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services.
· Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas:-
o IP Telephony, QoS,
o Wireless,
o Routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and MPLS.
o VPN & Firewalls.
· Experienced with network management systems (NMS).
· Knowledge with Structured Cabling Systems will be an added advantage.
· Strong knowledge in any of the following areas will be an added advantage (Cisco Systems, Alcatel-Lucent, HP, Juniper Networks, Bluecoat, F5 and Riverbed).
