Network Engineer (Managed Services)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
Minimum 3 – 4 Years experience in Network troubleshooting
Experience in CISCO networking equipment mandatory, Juniper networking equipment preferred,
Networking Experience: Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS,Multicast, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS
Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
Knowledge in firewall management mainly in Juniper Firewall (Netscreen/SRX) and Cisco PIX/ASA advantages.
Knowledge in IDPS (Sourcefire) management, endpoint (Symantec and trendmicro) management and threat mitigation advantages.
Knowledge in BIND DNS management.
