Monitoring & Management Engineer (Ref: EJ82895)

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product House to design and develop suitable managed products and services.
• Support Product House to define Managed products and services specifications and source for suitable solutions for roll out.
• Develop, monitor and manage several monitoring tools that monitor the availability and/or performance of systems that supports the respective managed services.
• Develop and manage configuration management tools that are design to configure systems supporting the respective managed services which includes Monitoring & Mgmt across IPPBX, Bizcom/Enterprise 360, HDVC, MSS, TOPS, EWO, LAN CPE, CPE. 
• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory level and resource availability. 
• Establish in conjunction with operations to provide a process to ensure continuous service availability and management.
• Support customer-facing and operational units on pre-sales and post-sales issues
• Work closely with OSS/BSS team to monitor the performance for the deployed equipment

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Engineering or Computer Science.
• Broad and deep understanding of datacenter and IT infrastructure concepts.
• Experience working with or have managed one or more
  • IT Network & Security Monitoring systems
  • Enterprise network infrastructure, set-up of routers and switches
  • IP-PBX, VoIP, IP-based Video Conferencing systems
  • Backup systems
  • Microsoft Exchange organization and troubleshooting mail flow (SMTP) issues
  • VMware, vSphere hosts in a clustered configuration
  • Firewalls and configuring access rules, VPN connections, etc.
  • Shared storage platform
  • Configuration management and service desk management systems
• CCNA, CCNP, ITIL Foundations certified.
