Managed Security Engineer (Ref: EJ82892)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for secure, cost-effective service design and deployment for managed security services that meets Product specifications and service launch timelines
• Ensure effective capacity management of managed security infrastructure
• Involved in technical negotiations with partners for partnership projectsPurchase appropriate equipment at cost effective prices and in compliance with the Procurement Policy
• Manage vendor / supplier relationships
• Support customer-facing and operational units on pre-sales and post-sales issues
• Meet customers and explain the value of the managed services.
• Provide technical L4 support/advices and fault resolution/trouble-shooting support during fault escalation
• Test and evaluate products and understand the strength and weakness of each equipment
• Work closely with OSS/BSS team to monitor the performance for the deployed equipment
• Establish in conjunction with operations to provide a process to ensure continuous service availability and management.

• Requirements
•  Good Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Engineering 
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in the Network Security
• Candidate must also be innovative, customer-focused and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.Possess the following knowledge in:
• Firewall and IDS/IPS systems (eg. Juniper/Netscreen, Cisco PIX, Fortinet, Snort, Tipping Point etc)
• DDOS systems (eg Abor, Allot etc)
• SIEM platform (eg. Arcsight etc)
• Candidates possessing CISSP, CISA, CISM, RHCSS, or CCSA or JCNIS certifications would be an added advantage.
