Laboratory Technician needed to prepare and facilitate undergraduate Molecular Biology teaching laboratories. Responsibilities include working with instructors for lab development and implementation, and the supervision of undergraduates in the teaching labs. Qualifications B.S. in Biology or related field with a Molecular Biology component. Minimum experience of 1-2 years preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are required. Responsibilities Assist faculty in daily preparations of undergraduate molecular biology labs; Prepare and trouble shoot molecular biology protocols, and direct supervision and evaluation of students in the laboratory. Work with faculty to plan and implement teaching labs, and assist in educational assessment. Facilitate lab preparation by working with the Laboratory Manager and prep staff to order supplies, reagents, make solutions, and screen lab protocols. Other duties as assigned by Laboratory Manager & Assistant Department Chair.
