Java/J2EE Developer (Portal)
You will be involved in the entire software development life cycle including application development, implementation, maintenance and post-implementation review. In addition, you will assist in integration testing which include diagnosing program defects, integration and performance issues and to recommend and carry out necessary follow-ups
- Minimum 2 years of software development experience, with strong hands-on Java/J2EE Programming experience.
- Web Portal development experience is mandatory.
- Experience with Portal and CMS platforms like Magnolia, Liferay is a plus.
- Sound experience in Java/J2EE Programming, JSP, Javascript, HTML, Unix/Linux, MySQL
- Understanding and Knowledge on portal and open-source technologies and architectures
- Experience in either development or integration with Social Networking platforms will be an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge of a range of software engineering topics including data structures and algorithms,
database concepts, object oriented programming, software architecture and design patterns
- Highly Motivated and Target-oriented Professionals with Quality consciousness
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Good clear communication; Fast Learning capability and challenging attitude
- Good Interpersonal skills, happy working and collaborating with cross-cultural team members
