Java/J2EE Developer (Java Version 5)
Responsibilities
• Perform the full SDLC activities from requirement, design, development, testing till implementation and post-implementation support
• Produce system documentation such as functional and design spec, support and troubleshooting guides
• Interact with customer on issue clarification, investigation and resolution according to SLA
Skills Required
• 1 – 2 years web application development experience in a High-Availability (ie. HA) env , with integration of with Single Sign-on (SSO), LDAP Authentication, ActiveX Directory services, Message Queuing (eg. MQ), Encryption, SMTP, etc.
• 2 – 3 yrs development experience in Java version 5 and above, SQL, JSP, Servlet, JDBC
• Experience in application development frameworks such as EJB, Spring, Hibernate in the Java platform.
• Experience in scripting language such as Javascript, JQuery, Groovy a plus.
• Experience in revision control and build management tools, such as Subversion, Ant and/or Maven.
• Strong ability to debug program defects
• Experienced in executing SDLC methodology.
• Proactive and creative in problem solving.
• Experience in applying notations such as UML, context diagrams, process diagram for requirement and solution modelling a plus.
• Knowledgeable in UNIX/LINUX shell scripting a plus
• Strong ability to communicate in verbal and written English.
