ICIT System Engineer (VSAT)

Job scope:

• Plan, lead, execute and supervision of site installation
• Draft scope of work for vendors for new installation
• Assist system engineers in site survey. Update drawings, records and installation document.
• Operate, test and troubleshoot systems
• Assist System Engineers to commission communication and power system during OSAT/ FAT.
• On-site supervision of the installation and integration of the system
• Ensure accuracy and quality of installed works
• System readiness check-out, perform functional and sub-system tests
• Overall network system testing over satellite link
• On-site acceptance tests with customers/end-users
• Requirements:
• Degree in Electronics/Communication Engineering
• Min 2 yrs experience in integration of Satcom system preferred
• Knowledge in Microwave/RF is an advantage

Procurement manager:

• Handle full spectrum of Purchasing function (Sourcing, negotiation, PO generation, expedite and change order)
• Responsible for sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers to constantly strive for best purchase price while maintaining the highest level of quality, reliability and service.
• Liaise & negotiate with suppliers on better price for specifying quality, quantity and delivery schedules
• Maintain good working relationship with suppliers, clients and other vendors
• Develop cost reduction strategies in order to negotiate pricing as well as participate actively in supplier development and evaluation programs.
• Responsible for the continuous development and improvement of procurement processes
• Source new products and alternative suppliers
• Monitor the performance of suppliers & quality of supplied products
• Schedule, expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries
• Follow up billing dispute with suppliers
• Handle general administration duties
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Business/Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Engineering or equivalent
• With 3-5 years of relevant purchasing experience (Preferably from a Manufacturing  background)
• A quick-learner, a good team player as well as possess the aptitude to work well independently
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• A team player; Strong negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Supply Chain System (SAP/ERP)
