The Human Resource Assistant will provide daily human resource support to the Human Resource Manager and provide assistance to employees of the call center.  We are looking for an individual with previous human resource experience who enjoys the aspects of recruiting and working in a dynamic environment. 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintaining database (new hires, terminations, address changes, leaves, etc.).
  • Participating in the recruiting process by writing and placing ads, pre-screening candidates, and generating offer letters.
  • Conducting new hire and benefits orientations. 
  • Processing paperwork related to benefit changes, address changes, W-4 changes, etc.
  • Coordinating employee functions and group activities.
  • Maintaining all benefit and personnel files.
  • Answering employee questions related to policies and benefits. 
Requirements
  • Previous experience with non-exempt recruiting (preferred)
  • Previous payroll/HRIS experience with ADP and Kronos (preferred) 
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Computer experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resource Management or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
