Health Care Consulting Manager

The Health Care Consulting Manager is responsible for developing strategies that drive practice financial performance and solutions. This position has an active role in business development, preparing proposals and participating in sales presentations. Additionally, the Health Care Consulting Manager acts as the strategy lead on high complexity projects, focusing on business analysis, strategic and financial modeling. An in-depth understanding of internal and external factors affecting medical group practices and patient needs is crucial to the performance of the Health Care Consulting Manager to aid physician shareholders identify and attain personal and professional goals.

Responsibilities:

Utilizes technical knowledge and professional consulting experience to provide effective project management and practice development
Assists with proposals and business development
Teams with other offices and industry groups
Develops areas of expertise and a more specialized role within practice
Attends industry group meetings and events
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business or finance fields preferred ; graduate degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, MPA) or CPA a plus
Minimum of 6 full years of external consulting experience to healthcare organizations (consulting experience with healthcare payers considered a plus)
Proven experience effectively managing healthcare consulting projects
