Prerequisites:

Proven expertise in creating varied design projects and outstanding portfolio in relevant work samples

4-10 years of experience in graphic design or Graduate with 3 years experience (Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or comparable)

Expert-level mastery in Photoshop CS

Proficient in using Illustrator or InDesign, Microsoft office

Additional desired skills:

Basic photography a plus

Knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus

A graphic designer that is highly creative individual who has proven experience combining artistic sensibility and technical skill to support an organization's diverse design needs. This individual relishes creative challenges, understands and design to business goals. Creativity and style, and the ability to produce and execute great and challenging designs in a fast-paced environmentare core skills, brainstorming potential concepts independently and with colleagues.A keen ability to translate targeted messaging, necessary sales and promotional information into strong, clear and concise designs that achieve the goal identified for each assignment, while maintaining the company’s design aesthetic.

Primary Job Specifications & Responsibilities:
 

Conceptualise, propose and execute graceful, unique and effective design concepts, solutions and materials that visually engage readers/viewers. Media that includes print and digital advertisements (newspapers, magazines, online, facebook, yahoo, msn, etc) corporate profile, newsletters, brochures, email templates, direct mail/EDM, web banners and web pages.

Keen eye for typography, layouts, templates and color, clear and concise designs, in line with corporate identity, brand image and colours.

Strong proofing skills and attention to detail and graphics standards with a high degree of accuracy.

Meeting deadlines on multiple projects in fast-paced environment

Ability to work cohesively and co-ordinate with a creative team on A&P, artwork and presentations.

Ability to self-manage priorities and take ownership of projects

Steps in and takes initiative for end-to-end results with a strong sense of urgency and follow through.

Continually seek out new ways to help differentiate us from competitors, i.e., new formats, styles, techniques, perspectives, etc.

To constantly keep in tune with the latest fashion, designs, style and graphic trendsBuild and maintain a photo and graphics library

Liaise with print vendors, agencies, and other external production resources to ensure optimal output of finalized materials

Follow-up with all Media Copy advertisements, and to meet artwork datelines in the Media Schedule as well as color proofing of advertisements, approval and monitoring progress of FA.

Constantly familiarizing new media, online digital, magazines, etc with regards to specifications, style and procedures.

Co-ordinate advertising job with agencies and suppliers for all commercial shooting, and photography of models

Assist in sourcing and contacting of potential models for new campaigns and maintaining models’ photo library
