FINANCE MANAGER
We seek a driven and motivated individual who is interested in being part of a very fast growing company. The position manages a team of 6 and growing professionals in the Finance, Purchasing and Administration Department. The incumbent will report to the CEO. Qualified candidate in senior capacity may be offered the role of Senior Finance and Administration Manager.
General Responsibilities:
· Plans, coordinates and evaluates the activities of Finance, Purchasing and Admin Department to ensure its effective and efficient operation. For example, evaluates internal controls, budget controls, and preparation of financial reports
· Develops, recommends and implements operating policies, procedures and programs within the Department in order to accomplish departmental goals and objectives
· Review and identify business system deficiencies and recommend solutions
· Make recommendations to improve organization effectiveness in accordance to company’s direction, structures and requirements
Finance
· Manage the budget and forecast processes and provides extensive financial analysis support for senior management to facilitate planning and execution of new initiatives and strategies
· Develop and recommend goals and objectives for the Finance Department to ensure compliance with statutory standards.
· Manage the yearly audit review with auditors and collaborating with tax agent/corporate secretarial company on all corporate taxation issues
Purchasing
· Establish and conduct regular review of procurement procedures and policies in consultation with the Management
· Conduct regular review on cost effectiveness and performance of suppliers and vendors by making random checks on prices benchmarked against others
· Resolve any irregularities and non-compliance issues with suppliers and vendors concerning purchase orders, payments or any conditions of purchase
Administration
· Oversee office management and lease agreements within the company
· Ensure efficient operation and office facilities, equipment and systems are upkeep in good condition
· Devise and maintain office systems including data and filing management, etc
Requirements:
· Recognized Degree in Finance / Accounting field or equivalent (ACCA qualification is a plus)
· Knowledge of accounting guidelines and FRS/local standards
· Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial role
· Experience in leading and motivating a team of professionals
· Well organized, meticulous and proficient in process review and improvement
· Proactive with excellent follow through skills to achieve results
· Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills with a can-do attitude
· Experience in Quickbooks software is an advantage
