Job Description
To provide a first class maintenance support service to the automated material handling system, ensuring all engineering disciplines are executed with high quality in a timely manner and in accordance with current Safety standards
Role
To provide emergency breakdown response, root cause analysis, preventative maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and continuous improvement to the automated material handling system, in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
To ensure compliance with all current (and future) legislation applicable for safety standards.
To ensure compliance and accountability of quality for all breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance and operational throughput.
Evolve all engineering practices to ensure continued reliability, availability and system throughput.
Provide operational support and system fault recovery within the system.
Communicate with all levels internally and externally (customer service focus).
Job Requirements
Mechanical engineering qualifications and apprenticeship – technician level (Diploma or equivalent standard)
Electrical engineering qualifications and apprenticeship – technician level (diploma or equivalent standard)
Competent within IT controlled systems, digital sensors/inputs.
Computer/I.T literate.
Good communications skills.
Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical assembly drawings and technical documentation.
