Desktop Support (Multiple Position)
Desktop Support-1
- To provide 1st level / 2nd level support to end-users in troubleshooting and resolving of desktop PC problems (Hardware, software and application) and related peripherals (Printer, scanner, PDA etc);
- To perform installation, setup, configuration, migration, upgrading and maintenance of desktop PC, OS, software and related peripherals
- Perform overtime as and when it requires and having 7x24 standby.
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Candidate must possess at least ITC or Diploma (from local polytechnics) in IT related field
- Concepts of basic LAN/WAN networking infrastructure.
- Knowledge on MS office, Lotus Notes, WinXP, Vista etc
- Desktop Support-2
Duties and Responsibility
- Support security patch testing on Client and Server
- Provide support for Applications or COE patch testing / support after office hour / weekend
- Assist in testing of core applications supported by COE team
- Assist in evaluation of notebooks / PCs / tablets / PDAs, etc
- Assist in patch testing on the different client environment
- Assist in creating COE images for the different environment
- Assist in establishing COE documents and procedures
- Assist in general lab management
- Assist in backup management
- Assist in vetting COE certificates for the different environment Software packaging
Requirements
Diploma in Information Technology / Engineering
Minimum one year experience
Good knowledge in MS Office, MS Access
Knowledge in Desktop/Server related troubleshooting skills
Knowledge in website development

System cum Desktop Engineer
Duties and responsibilities of System cum Desktop Engineer
- Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining PC-related hardware, Printer, network equipment, server, firewall, and router
- Installation of MS O/S (Win98/WinNT/Win2000/WinXP, third party software and in-house developed applications.
- Provide System backup and contingency to meet KPI and SLA
- Provide in-house technical support to internal user and provide 24 x 7 hours standby support to meet KPI and SLA
- Documentation of all user requests and problem resolutions. Adhere to the End-user Support Service Levels at all time.
- Provide technical support for any PBX related problem.
- Management of login IDs for email, Call Management System, LAN and PBX system.
- Collaboration/liaises with /client/vendor/other dept in solving problems or rolling out new services or applications.
- To assist Manager in managing and ensuring that the project is completed within the committed time frame
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor
- To perform shift duties

Desktop Support (Team Lead)
1) At least 3-4 years desktop support experience and preferably in leading a 3-4 members desktop team.
2) Basic knowledge on Windows OS cloning / Common Desktop software usage and troubleshooting
3) Preferably with basic knowledge in Windows networking, wireless connection and VPN configuration.
