Requirements

• At least 1 year experience as a DB2 DBA in zOS/mainframe environment
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Sever database administration is a plus
• Analytical problem solver
• Work with system administrators and application team in dealing with database related issues
• Support application development team in database design & alteration
• Extensive SQL/DML experiences.
• Working Hours: (Officially, Mon to Fri working environment; support project development team)

Database Administrator (mssql)

Job:

• Define technical solutions related to database
• Database design and implementation
• Diagnose problems related to database
• Provide guidance to software engineers in terms database programming
• Code review of database programs

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Oracle in terms of designing and implementing database solution for software development, in Unix and Windows environment
• Experienced in developing, maintaining and fine tuning database for complex command and control and communication software system, with high data volume, high performance and high availability will be an advantage
• Knowledge of other databases such as MySQL and SQL Server will be an advantage
• Working experience in network, server and system administration work on Unix and Windows platform will be an added advantage
• Have a strong team spirit with can-do attitude
