Database Administrator 

• Minimum 3-5 years implementation & operational hands-on experience with Oracle (8/8i/9i/10g/11g) on Unix and Windows platforms.
• Familiar with Oracle running on HA like Veritas Cluster and RAC in a production environment would be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge or experience in MS SQL Server.
•  Technically independent with good initiative; able to provide 2nd level support and work under pressure
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production database issues.
• Good working attitude and able to provide adhoc support as and when required.
• A good team player.
• Customer oriented with a good sense in adopting and following operational procedures.
• Candidate with DB2 skill set on Unix would be an advantage.
• Candidate with Oracle App 11i experience would be an advantage.
• Candidate familiar with SQL tuning would be an advantage.
• Good communication skill.
• Preferably a certified Oracle DBA.
• Able to provide 24x7 support.

Database Administrator

• Minimum 2-4 years implementation & operational hands-on experience with MS SQL Server (2000/2005/2008)
• Good working experience on MS SQL Server on clustered environment
• Technically independent with good initiative
• Able to provide 2nd level support and work under pressure
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production database issues
• Good working attitude and able to provide adhoc support as and when required
• A good team player
• Customer oriented with a good sense in adopting and following operational procedures
• Good communication skill
• Preferably a certified MS SQL Server DBA
• Able to provide 24x7 support
• Candidate familiar with other databases like Oracle, DB2, would be an advantage
• Candidate familiar with SQL tuning would be an advantage

Database Administrator

Requirements

• In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience.
• Experience of managing multiple MS SQL 2000, 2005 & 2008 RDBMS on large systems
• Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects
• Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
• Experience of Transactional SQL, and DTS stored procedures.
• Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security
• Experience in other RDBMS such as DB2 on LUW, Oracle is an added advantage
• Certification MS SQL Server is preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience in managing and supporting production databases on a large scale
