Database Administrator (multiple positions)

Position 1

DBA

Minimum 3 years implementation & operational hands-on experience with Oracle (8/8i/9i/10g/11g) on Unix and Windows platforms.
 Familiar with Oracle running on HA like Veritas Cluster and RAC in a production environment would be an advantage.
Good working knowledge or experience in MS SQL Server.
 Technically independent with good initiative; able to provide 2nd level support
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production database issues.
Good working attitude and able to provide adhoc support as and when required.
 Customer oriented with a good sense in adopting and following operational procedures.
Candidate familiar with SQL tuning would be an advantage.
Good communication skill.
Preferably a certified Oracle DBA.

Position 2

DBA

At least polytechnic/degree qualification
At 4 yrs of working experience in areas of database design, planning, implementation, administration
At 2 yrs of practical working experience with Oracle RDBMS and MS SQL
At least 2 yrs practical working experience in Windows Server environment
Familiar with Windows/Solaris
Good knowledge in middleware technologies (e.g. BEA weblogic, Biz Talk, SharePointm Dynamic CRM, Microsoft .Net)
Willing to support 24x7 operation and fault escalation

Position 3

DBA

At least 1-2 years server support experience on database for DB2 (open system) databases.
Customer service oriented, good team player, technically inclined
Administration & Troubleshooting skill on DB2 will be required
Background on ITIL processes
Team Player and able to work in stressful environment
 

Position 4

DBA

At least five (5) years of working experience in the area of database design, planning, implementation, administration and management
At least three (3) years hands-on practical working experience with Oracle RDBMS and MS SQL
Possess the skills to administer, fine tune, monitor and project the growth of databases, manage and standardize database objects, advise developers in defining the data items and in designing efficient databases and query statements.
Preferably a certified Oracle DBA.
 

Position 5

DBA

Experience in administering MS SQL databases (MS SQL 2000 and above), MYSQL databases (MYSQL 5.0 and above) (in clustered environment) and Oracle Databases (Oracle 9i and above),

Tuning and troubleshooting MS SQL, MYSQL and Oracle instances.

Position 6

At least 2-3 years server support experience on database for DB2 DBA, MS-SQL & Oracle databases.
Customer service oriented, good team player, technically inclined
Administration & Troubleshooting skill on DB2 & MS-SQL  will be required
Background on ITIL processes
Team Player and able to work in stressful environment
