Manage a 24/7 call center staff of 20 call takers and dispatchers entering phone orders for taxicab service and providing dispatch service to taxicab drivers.
The manager is responsible for all personnel decisions including hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining employees. The manager must work within a monthly budget while keeping appropriate staffing in place to handle all calls in a timely manner. Manager is responsible for analyzing daily and monthly reports and applying the data to improve the department's performance. The Call Center Manager is also responsible for resolving customer issues and providing transportation quotes, and will working directly with taxi drivers, other department managers and ownership to meet company goals. Requirements Previous call center managerial experience required along with a strong customer service background and leadership skills. Applicants should have extensive computer and phone system experience, as well as budgeting and analytical skills.
