Business Development Manager (P&S Line of Business Specialist)

Job Responsibilities:       

Responsible for expanding a company's product reach and profit revenues by identifying partners, channels and under new generation technologies, and attracting new customers.

He/She is required to research on new business opportunities, identify customer pain points and need for the sales planning, and undertake presentations. Additionally, he/she also plays a major role in establishing customer and partner relationships and fostering strong strategic relationships with them.

Other broad responsibilities are as follows:

Support and coordinate various marketing disciplines to bring the best possible business plan that drives the maximum growth.

Identify key deals and areas of new growth opportunities for the account team, marketing team and product team. Assist in the establishment of the company's presence in these growth areas.

Identify and evaluate partner - based business opportunities,communicate/report/resolve business issues and strategic opportunities to partners.

Drive the relationship building process and manage the relationship with clients and partners both in the project team and senior executive level.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Job Requirements:

Self-motivated, energetic, dedicated, driven, tenacious, achiever, well presented, able to communicate and work effectively at all levels, and a team player in all projects.

Technically inclined and preferably has pre-sales experience in any servers, storage and backup or data center integration.

Well versed in any of the virtualisation, server, storage and backup solutions.

Ability to articulate the value proposition; focus on selling business outcomes, not just technology solutions, solutions sales approach.

Ability to develop long term strategic and execute level relationships.

Strong in generating new opportunities from existing and build new accounts.

Has industry knowledge in various areas such as cloud technologies, virtualisation, Green Data Center.

Knowledge in Business Development, Product Sales, Account, Vendor, and Project Management.

Candidates with at least minimum of 3 year experience in the following will have an advantage:

Selling solutions to Government/Defense sector.

Familiar with IDA procurement scheme.

Driving managed services business.

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business/Information Communication/Engineering.
