Artist, Illustrator for Textile Design

Our client is a leading international producer of decorative home fashions distributed worldwide through mass merchandisers, discounters, chain stores, and other similar channels.  Our client's products include decorative kitchen and tabletop products, beach towels, and bedding products, including sheet sets, comforters and decorative pillows.

Responsibilities will include creating original designs for our kitchen ensembles [ kitchen towels, oven mitts, pot holders, placemats, tablecloths, etc. ]  Additional responsibilities include putting designs into repeat, preparing artwork for production, and making quick design revisions.  Candidate should have knowledge of emerging trends and color & be able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.  Must have strong CAD skills, particularly Photoshop & Illustrator.  Textile experience and knowledge of embroidery is a strong plus.
