Application Support Lead (IBM Mainframe/Cobol)

You must be able to lead a team in providing application support. You must be committed to implement service requests and problem resolutions within SLA, as well as to deliver expected results within tight timeline.  You must be able to front customer for requirement gathering as well as production support in resolving reported incidents. You must be committed to ensure completeness and quality of deliverables.

• You must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience in application development and support, with at least 3 years’ in team lead and supervisory experience.
• You must be self motivated in managing work deliverables and problem resolutions. You must be able to multi-task and may need to support more than one application system.
• You must be technically inclined and hands-on.
• You must have hands-on experience with various IBM mainframe tools such as COBOL, DB2, CICS and  JCL and zOS. Experience and knowledge with Easytrieve, SAS and MQ Series  will be an advantage. 
• You must have the ability to work closely with all team members.
• You must be willing to be contactable 24x7 and may be required to attend to production problem outside office hours.

Senior SAS Programmer

Job Scope:                   1. Delivery of high quality transformed survey data in a timely manner.

2. Maintenance of suite of applications and/or other modeling applications in production

3. Development\ Maintenance of SAS programs to process research survey data.

4. Make necessary amends to the SAS programs based on changing deliverables and scope of projects

5. Guide other programmers in the team on SAS automation projects

6. Work closely with SAS programmers in other global offices to understand process and programs.

7. Documentation of program specifications.

8. Responsible for resource and/or work allocation and management of the junior staff in the team

Requirements:

1. Bachelors or Masters Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics with 3 to 5 years of SAS programming experience; preferably 1-2 years in Market Research.
2. Good analytical and people management skill are a must.
3. SAS certification (desirable)
4. Knowledge of other programming languages (like .NET) and Data Base  Management Systems (like Ms SQL Server) is as plus

Functional Tester

Job Description:

• Understand and analyze functional testing requirements to prepare functional test plan and test design
• Advise project team on functional design consideration to facilitate meeting of functional requirements
• Prepare and ensure readiness of test data and test environment to carry out the functional test execution
• Execute test in accordance to the functional test design
• Analyze functional test results and work with respective developers to resolve bugs.
• Prepare functional test report for submission
• Provide regular functional test results updates
• Manage functional test activities and ensure the planned functional test activities are completed as scheduled
• Coach, train and mentor project teams on test practices
• Self-directed learning & development

Competency: Functional Test Tool

• Trained on at least one of the following functional management tools (self-study/format class training): Rational Quality Manager, HP Quality Centre, Microfocus SilkCentral
• Trained on at least one of the following functional automation tools (self-study/format class training): Rational Functional Tester (RFT), HP Quick Test Professional (QTP), Microfocus SilkTest
• Able to do scripting for the project using the designated functional test tool
• Able to troubleshoot scripting errors and provide work-around solutions in the event of test tool's limitation
• Able to evaluate and provide recommendations on test tools for projects

Others:

• Prefer to have development background but not mandatory.
