Responsibilities:
# Responsible for a variety of UNIX platforms predominantly from IBM running AIX, some Intel HP running Linux
# Ownership of trouble tickets and user requests
#
# Tight control of the environment including conformance with standard controls checks and procedures in accordance with the company standards.
# Maintaining system documentation.
# COB testing and documentation
Requirements:
* Understanding of AIX, Linux operating systems, native IBM clustering and associated tools
* Knowledge of IBM HMC, VIO server and LPAR technologies
* Knowledge of IBM pSeries hardware – p570 and p595 in particular
* Extensive Unix Systems Administration experience on AIX – Solaris and Linux experience also beneficial
* Knowledge of IBM pSeries architecture and previous IBM server generations
